When we were at the Bellevue Wedding Expo, we were floating around a date towards the last week in August, like the weekend of the 26th. It would be far enough away to let us plan and try and get stuff done, but would avoid Labor Day weekend and presumably the increased travel costs. However, most of the people we talked to said that August was their busiest month. I guess this makes sense, given the relatively short season we have in Seattle for good weather without having to anticipate rain as much, but on the other hand, it could have been a sales tactic. If we said “Oh, maybe in November” maybe they would have said “Well, November is the busiest month for weddings.”

Well, maybe not November. Anyway, I think the early target is the end of August, possibly September, with the possibility that we push this whole thing to next Spring (when we have more money, are less busy, etc. etc.)
