This company takes your childhood pictures and takes the heads and Photoshops them into photos of children in wedding outfits. According to the testimonials, a lot of people like this kind of thing, but here are the reasons why I can tell this isn’t for me:

• Children in wedding clothes seem kind of creepy to me. Kind of like those strange Anne Geddes pictures of babies, I guess, the same kind of vibe.
• Most of the pictures come from school pictures, so have that odd kind of “I’m taking my school picture” look.
• I can’t tell if its the compression used on the images on the website, but they seem artificial to me. I can’t remember from what I saw at the Seattle Wedding Show if the actual prints were the same way.

Anyway, I’m sure a lot of people love this kind of thing, and like the imagery that these the people getting married were star-crossed lovers, or had known each other forever. I could even imagine these having some emotional weight if the couple actually had known each other since kindergarten. I’m just saying this isn’t meant for me.
